Established in 2003 by Teresa Bell, SMUDJ is a proudly South African brand devoted to making beautiful clothing for women. Effortless garments that can be worn in many ways, at many different times, but ultimately clothing that is playful, and speaks of the optimism, self-confidence and joy de Vivre of the wearer. We are for free thinkers.

Based in Johannesburg, each of our garments is conceptualised, designed and made up in-house. We have a dedicated and highly skilled team of seamstresses and pattern makers, and fabric quality, impeccable design and unrelenting attention to detail have always formed the foundation on which we do business.  We are single-minded about fit, finish and customer service.
